The resources that are requested in this project all directly help students get back to pre-pandemic learning experiences that are more hands-on and interactive than the learning they experienced during the peak of the pandemic. Research shows that students perform better when they can collaborate and use manipulatives to enhance their curriculum. The resources requested in the project are mostly non-consumable, meaning they can be used for years to come to help students overcome pandemic learning! Students not only will love being able to use hand-on materials again, but these resources will also boost their understanding of math and science academic standards. Students will have opportunities to use these resources to help practice all five domains of math such as Math 6.RP, Math 6.NS, Math 6. EE, Math 6.G, and Math 6.SP. Students will also love using these resources to help them gain a deeper understanding of science, especially heat transfer with the great heat lamps that are a part of the project! (MS-PS3-3)
