These materials will support reading fluency and comprehension which are a huge part of first grade. They missed so much being online last year that being able to manipulate words with these centers will make a huge difference. Some of my students hardly showed up to virtual school in kindergarten because of a variety of issues, but they are now ready to become learners in the classroom. They are eager and willing, we just need a lot more than most years to help get them there. Let’s get them ready for second grade!
