Because of the amount of students in my classes many are sitting far away or at angles to the projector screen. It is important they be able to see the image easily as many of my notes and presentations are projected on the screen. I also have a fair amount of students whose vision is somewhat compromised by different medical diagnosis and the Vivitek DW884ST DLP projector short throw 3D would help them as well as the rest of the students be able to get the most out of these presentations.
