My students love to read. They dive into their chosen books anytime we have a spare minute. Our room is delightfully large but doesn't offer a comfortable place for budding readers to settle in with a favorite book or a new adventure. With your help, we'll create a cozy nest of bean bag chairs surrounded by a library of books geared to interest my second-grade students. The Reading Nook will cater to reading, discussions, and writing projects. We'll turn our empty spaces into the perfect "retreat" where students are encouraged to explore new worlds and adventures in the pages of their books.
