Students who are entering kindergarten now have been affected by Covid-19 in their fine motor skills and social emotional skills. Many students enter kindergarten having already used crayons, pencils, or have social skills as they may have attended a daycare or preschool. These children were denied that opportunity. By donating to my project you will help my students learn the alphabet, letter sounds, and develop fine motor skills necessary to help them succeed in school. I am requesting a set of letter sound alphabet tubs since many of my students are learning English as a second language. The tubs will help them learn and remember their letter names and sounds as they talk to their peers and hold the hands on objects. Many student need to develop their fine motor skills in order to write. Using the playdough letter stamps, playdough mats and the find the letter activity box will help students develop both their fine motor skills while learning their letters. 5 year old students enjoying learning away from a traditional desk and hard chair. Students will be able to read books and work on floor activities using the flexible seating.
