The books I have chosen are my most requested genres/ topics! The graphic novels that I have listed show diverse characters like Marvel's Black Panther's "Shuri" Have a Brown main character has a big effect on young adults. Most of my students will most likely get inspired and want to read more. I have also listed the title "Not from here" most of my student population are children of immigrants. Having a book like this in their school library will help them understand who they are and even where their family comes from. Having these diverse titles in my library will allow students to see that books are for everyone, and will encourage the love for reading.
