These amazing resources will support my 5th graders academically by providing engaging digital and hands-on experiences! Students will be able to do the artwork using paint, markers, and other arts and craft materials as a fun supplementary activity after reading and writing about holiday themes such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. These resources will enhance engagement during lessons based on academic standards: W.5.3 and RL.5.2. My classroom will be a flurry of activity as students work in small groups while their teacher uses the iPad to document 'aha' moments and collect data (grades) during discussion and task completion. The mobile laptop desk will make it easy for the teacher to engage with students as they work in their groups, even when these lessons/activities are held outdoors. The Halloween and Christmas backdrops will be used during our upcoming class parties to create 5th-grade memories as students take pictures to share with each other, parents, and the Cozine yearbook. Now that students have returned to the classroom in person, there are significant learning gaps and social-emotional issues! I would like to thank you for helping teachers to restore student motivation, as we work toward achieving a sense of normalcy by providing much-needed resources to make learning fun and engaging!
