Union Colony recently received a grant to build a library, something that our school has never had! We would really love to fill it with books that will make our students excited to visit the library and inspire them to become life long learners. We are currently going into classrooms and finding out what our students are most interested in and what they would like to have in our library. Studies have shown that the more students read the better their vocabulary becomes. We have a ton of second language learners and we will that by providing them with books that they are interested it will help promote the advancement of their language development.

About my class
