These items will promote the health and safety of students during face-to-face instruction throughout COVID restrictions. Items on this list will also provide learning opportunities and supplies for lessons and activities in social studies, reading, writing, math, and science. For example, the gavel will provide students with the opportunity to become a supreme court judge and run a classroom government (SS.5.20). The air purifier will allow students to see the benefits of clear air and the impact of such air on their overall health and safety in their daily lives (PCE-5-1; SIC-5-1). The remaining items will provide students with the necessary supplies and resources to complete learning tasks throughout the school day.
