This project will be used across multiple departments to enhance the learning going on in the classroom. Imagine a classroom where you are able to go into space and see the universe in a new way. In social studies classes being able to walk the streets of Pompeii and analyze the features of the civilization. In math, instead of talking about real-world connections, we allow the students to use their math skills to solve real-world problems in a virtual reality situation. Just imagine how being immersed in an environment could enhance the learning experience and motivate students to get to that next academic level. Using 21st-century tools will enhance learning in the classroom by providing real-world connections across the content areas to enhance the learning opportunities in the classroom.
