We have already using the supplies. Daily we use the magnet clips and towels to erase after we use the whiteboards to show work. My students and tutoring students love the simplicity of having the towels on the clips and on the board. \r\n\r\nI have seen numerous students using the strips during tests and during stressful times of class when anxiety might be high. They loved having the choice of which strip they wanted at their seat. \r\n\r\nFinally, the snacks have been so helpful, when students come to class or tutoring hungry. Having the snacks available to give to the students has been very helpful allowing them to get food and focus on the required work. \r\n\r\nThese are just some of the uses of the donations and how they have impacted my students. The use of the 3D printer is helping my students to incorporate technology into their leadership. Not only are students allowed to watch their images come to life right in front of their eyes. This gives them a sense of accomplishment and allows them to share what they have created with others. \r\n\r\nWhat is most exciting about the 3D printer to my students is being able to visually see the images come to life. My students stand around and watch the printer print. The boys in the class are really intrigued by the process. We were able to get our materials and begin using them immediately. The students are so excited to be able to use ipads to practice math and expand their knowledge. It has made learning math engaging and for some, easier to understand.
