Because of Covid, we won’t be able to take the books home. I believe my students need work improving their reading skills, so it is my hope that we will spend quality time immersing ourselves in the stories of people who look like them. It’s important for the students to engage with authors they’ve never heard of before. It’s important for them to read about the lives of others. It will help them strive to experience different and new things. I want them to understand that words have no limits.

About my class
