The use of headphones have become a necessity for students' learning both in the classroom and at home. My students use their classroom computers daily for all subject areas. They use them during our guided reading time to listen to books, read books orally and take comprehension quizzes on Raz Kids. They use them during our math block to access Dream Box in which they play learning games, advancing through levels as they acquire skills. They use them during Science as our newly adopted science program, Next Generation gives many online resources. They use them during our social studies block as they access Scholastic News. When students are excluded because of exposure to Covid, they are allowed to take their computers home as this is the best way to keep their learning consistent. By donating to our project, you will not only help us improve our concentration and focus, you will help to improve academic achievement.
