Through these materials, I will be able to deliver Tier I (whole school), Tier 2 (small group), and Tier 3 (individual) student services and supports that align to the following health standards: (1.PCE.MS.1) Investigate the impact of a variety of healthy practices and behaviors to maintain or improve personal, community, and environmental health, (1.PCE.MS.3.) As well as, connect the relationship between mental health and physical health (1.ME.MS.1.) I will teach students calming and coping strategies to utilize when experiencing frustrating, overwhelming feelings. I will get evidence-based strategies from the various treatment and workbooks from my purchase list. Students will be able to practice self-awareness and self-management by learning new calming and coping skills identified within the treatment and workbooks. These calming and coping skills, and other strategies, can be used to address student's symptoms of anxiety, ADHD, Anger, Trauma and concerns with anger, communication, and emotional regulation. In addition, students can practice expressive therapies through the use of journals, color pencils, water colors, and paper. Students will practice SEL competencies: self-awareness, self-management, and relationship building through the use of games, including Mad-Dragon to address anger management, flatter me to address self-esteem and social skills, and Let's mingle to address social skills and relationship building with peers. In addition, students will be able to use these activities and social worker can utilize workbooks to create activities to connect the importance of accepting the similarities and differences of self and others as it relates to personal, community, and environmental health (without discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, color, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity or expression, (1.PCE.MS.4).
