This project will help my students to obtain tutoring outside of the school day. Many of our lower socioeconomic students have families with one parent that works or two parents that both work. They are not able to afford to pay for a tutor so I tutor for free. When I am not available, nights, weekends, holidays, they can use 'ixl.com' to practice and receive immediate feedback AND instruction to improve and deepen their understanding of each concept assigned. Student are also able to practice with prerequisite material as ixl.com helps them to identify deficiencies from previously learned concepts, 8th grade, fifth grade, even as far back as kindergarten if necessary.
