To be a successful learner, the brain and body need to be fed and hydrated. Adolescents experience growth spurts and the onset of puberty during middle school. They need extra fuel and water to continue their career as successful students. I’m finding a large number of kids that don’t eat or drink all day for various reasons. I want to feed them. I feel it’s an act of love and an “I see you and care about you” moment when they get a tasty snack to finish their school day.

About my class
