Currently, our basketball programs lack some of the basic essentials needed for providing a students with an equitable experience in athletics. Not all sports have a need for practice jerseys as the offensive and defensive teams are more clearly defined (such as volleyball), However, in the sport of basketball, practice jerseys are an instrumental part of separating the two especially for middle schoolers who are most likely just being introduced to the concepts of the sport. Therefore, these jerseys would make a significant impact in aiding to the development of our young athletes.
