After a year of teaching remotely, I am starting from scratch in terms of tools and supplies. These tools and supplies are needed to give my students the education they deserve. Due to the demographics of the community I teach in, I do not feel comfortable asking families for significant donations of supplies. This is why I am asking you to help me buy the basic supplies I need to have a successful year in 3rd Grade. As you can see in my list, I am asking for bright colors to bring up my student's spirits after so many of them had such a challenging year. I will be using these material to teach in the classroom. We are focusing on Social Emotional learning this year and part of this will be drawing. They will be using the crayons and markers to draw pictures that relate to their social emotional wellness. I also need posters to help create anchor charts that will support students academically. I use anchor charts to remind students of key points they have learned so far in the year.
