The reading cushions will allow my students spread out in the library and read comfortably to allow for adequate social distancing in the library due to the Covid-19 pandemic protocol. During independent and quite reading time students can choose a fun, comfortable reading cushion and sit anywhere in the library. Students can also utilize these seating areas for group book discussions. Having flexible seating makes for a more enjoyable library experience for my students. Also, ample space, and plenty of comfort are key ingredients of a welcoming reading experience.
