The materials for my classroom will not only motivate my students, but it will allow them to become better readers and writers. I want to set up a reading corner that will allow my students and opportunity to read and learn. The books will be used for our book club for Young Women of Excellence. The items requested will allow my students to read more and create a culture of love for reading. I believe that each student will have the opportunity to learn more about being a young girl. I want my students to see reading as an opportunity to learn and not a stumbling block. I remember being a middle school kid who truly enjoyed reading simply because my teacher motivated me to read.
