My project is a recycling initiative in my building. Currently, my school does not recycle any product. Everything - paper, aluminum, plastic and glass - is trash. It is important for students to understand the impact of volunteering their time to help the environment. By beginning a recycling initiative, my students will personally be involved in the beginning processes of recycling: collecting and sorting. My students and their children are going to be the people who inherit the world. I'd like to offer them a chance to have a positive impact on the environment they and theirs will inherit.
