The upcoming academic year will be full of challenges and many of our young men would benefit from the additional support that reading and thinking deeply about themselves, their families, and communities would afford them. "There is no 'hood' tougher than fatherhood". Therefore, this novel about fatherhood, will allow them to identify, evaluate, or reevaluate their life choices. They will gain a deeper understanding of what it truly means to be a parent. With so many of our young people growing up in households that have 'absent fathers', this novel will provide a sense of solace.

About my class
