Instead of relying on sticky notes to record annotations, each student is now able to actively engage with the text by annotating directly on the page. I have been able to do book checks easily without worrying about sticky notes falling from pages. During our class discussions, they are able to respond to the readings and they love comparing books with peers to see who has more annotations. The ability to reference their ideas has also streamlined the process as they prepare to write essays.
