I am requesting current maps to better help them understand geography and the world. It's nice to unplug and not use screens all the time. The current set of political maps I have in my classroom show the U.S.S.R. on them. Many kids struggle with geography, so it would be a huge blessing to have a current world political map to pull down and show the students. We will use these maps to travel all over the world through our classroom projects and discussions in government and history classes. We really need a current set of political maps that kids can see easily and that don't have the U.S.S.R on them or fall off the wall every time I try to roll them up. Having a new set of maps would be wonderful and truly help the kids gain a better understanding of geography and the world.
