Our students will be able to have the equipment that they need during class and there will be enough for each kid to participate while learning the curriculum. This is also great because every child will have the chance to have a turn while in their class period. Also, kids will have the opportunity to learn and do something that they have never done before. Some have never jump roped before or even had the opportunity to learn. Many never have the proper equipment at home and only have the opportunity to use it during gym time. There are kids in need that don't have the types of objects that are asked for. I want to be able to be the little light in their lives to help teach them how to use the gear requested. The things I have asked for will be extremely beneficial for our student-athletes! During the time that the kids have their fitness testing, I am require to log the information. I am hoping to use this iPad to allow myself to conveniently take notes of their progress and carry around a light-weighted object to allow the flexibility to give my children the attention that they need, as well as giving them the correct grade. The current technology we have, limits access to certain apps and purchases and will not allow us to access beneficial applications that we use daily. We have to physically write out the information and double working to log it in electronically towards the end of the school day. I am full of zest and ready to see what my students are capable of doing and watching them grow physically and mentally through their healthy and fitness lives.
