With this donation I was able to purchase multiple tools and materials to use for creating several projects. My goal was to add to our minimal supplies we had on hand so students could develop hands on and critical thinking skills.\r\n Students learned how to develop a creative planning worksheet for a universal theme of nature. The two main requirements were to make a vase as the canvas to this project and to design the vase through their interpretation of nature. The results were amazing.\r\n We also collaborated with our first grade art students to create a project. First grade students drew pictures of monsters that the high school students turned into 3D representations. We are finishing up with those and will be delivering them soon. My students are very excited about this. Through this project they learned what it meant to create something for someone else and to put extra effort into the project. I explained this could also help them in developing their skills to create projects to sale.\r\n Having these supplies allowed us to focus on creativity, document and plan the artpiece and present it through a process board at the end.\r\n Thank you so much for your contribution to our students education and growth. I currently have a wait list for students to join ceramics next year.
