During the COVID-19 pandemic students have been asked to utilize screens to help them with their learning. In my 4th Grade classroom, one of the goals is to increase student literacy. The best way to do that is to read. When students begin to love to read, they can more easily transition from learning to read to reading to learn. I want students to discover the joy that can come from reading. I want to help them see the different adventures they can have in books. I want them to be excited to read and learn.
