In the classroom, I wish to create a warm, inviting reading area where students can relax and enjoy a story. The Boho rainbow rug will provide a spacious area where students can gather together in a safe learning environment to engage in reading to learn new information, for entertainment, for enjoyment, or to practice reading fluency skills. The ray of sunshine carpet will bring joy to the reading corner. The flexible seating desks will give students the option to control their physical environment. Students can use the flexible desks to stay engaged and focused. It will give students the choice to complete assignments in an area of the room that is comfortable for them. Giving students a choice, empowers them to take ownership of their own learning.
