The set of headphones I am requesting will support the students in the classroom. I know how they will be utilizing them on a daily basis. They will be practicing their English language. As English learners, they are evaluated on their listening and speaking skills. Therefore, it's important for them to practice and get familiar with these skills. During reading they will be retelling and recording the stories in both languages. Students will be creating and retelling their own stories through videos in both languages. Students will be editing their own work and use critical friends to get suggestions to make it better. It is important for them to have the headphones with a microphone close to reduce the background noise. Students will be creating videos about stories they have read. School has provided an iPad to each student, but only a few were able to buy their own headphones. I would like for each student to have their own set of headphones, especially right now with the pandemic, we don't want to be sharing this kind of items.
