Increasing the availability of Spanish or bilingual books in our classroom library will help my students rebuild their love for reading.I will be able to incorporate these readings into lesson plans and give them access to some of their favorite books during their silent reading time. I will also be able to use these books during our small group sessions to bridge the gap in understanding by having books in both languages. My students will also be able to borrow books from our library, just as they do from our school library.
