The materials that I am asking for will make a large difference in my classroom. By being in a smaller, tighter classroom seating can only vary so much with desks and chairs. My students like to move throughout the day, it helps them focus it and it gets their brains moving as well. By having this option of flexible seating, my students would be able to move around our classroom and have more options to sit to better help their learning experience and focus. These materials will be used for small group instruction time so students can move from their desks and chairs onto the stools to give them more opportunities to move freely while they think and focus. These materials will also be used for read-aloud and whole group instruction since in a tighter and smaller classroom floor space is limited. This flexible seating will allow for more of the students to see the board and be able to be engaged in the lesson. With these materials, students will be able to better focus in a wider variety of spaces in the tight classroom and it will help them move freely and safely while still being able to engage and learn.
