The weekly readers will allow our students the opportunity of having their own magazine to take home after reading in both classes. As teachers, we provide for many other expenses to help our students' motivation and achievement, but this resource is too much for us and most of our students cannot afford it. Time will be spent with family, giving the chance to bring back the joy of reading versus using technology. The wonderful magazine Scholastic offers motivate the student by wanting to look at the colorful pictures and then notice words taught in class, thus encouraging reading in both languages! With the Scholastic Weekly Reader magazines, their love and excitement to read will allow them to discover new things.

About my class
