These materials will provide resources for my students to be able to learn about all different scientists and engineers who have contributed to the topics they are learning. When we are exploring a topic in Chemistry, the students will be able to find through these available resource books more female scientists and engineers, famous scientists of color, and LGBTQ+ scientists that have contributed that they may not see readily available when they complete a search online. These books, posters, pins, and activities will be a complement to my classroom as students will be able to borrow them from the student library to use as they need at home or in the classroom. All the materials will help provide resources that will help my classroom be more racially and culturally diverse.
