The addition of these books will help me enhance my classroom library for my students. Having a classroom library gives my students the opportunity to explore different genres and books that they have not gotten the chance to read. Each one of these books was hand selected based on student interest, book tasting, and professional recommendations. With this new classroom library selection, my class will be able to choose books that are interesting to them, match their reading level, and ultimately help them become stronger, more independent readers. Each of my students are excited to dive into independent reading this year. This project will help better their independent reading journey.
