I teach 21 fourth graders at a Title I school. Most of my students receive free lunch. Some are learning English, while others are struggling with learning disabilities. My students are very hard working and they know that I have high expectations of them. They have also learned a lot about being patient with each other and tolerant of learning differences. Though they may sometimes quibble, much like siblings, they would be the first ones to support or stand up for any classmate that needs it. My classroom is my students' "home away from home". We are a family.
