We are creating a child-centered, safe and quiet space for our class to begin practicing important skills that they will carry with them for life. This space will be used for English Language Learners and also will be utilized by other students as a space to take a break or do other services such a speech and language therapy or math and/or reading support. The main goal is to turn our room into an inviting space that welcomes children and encourages them to feel comfortable and safe; especially when a full classroom feels too big or too loud.

About my class
