I would like for my PreK-4 class to have a warm and welcoming Relaxation and Calming Center. This center will be located right next to the reading center. My students will be able to go to this calming center when they are feeling upset, frustrated, angry, or sad. I have supplies in all the other centers except for this calming center. These chairs and tables will be used for students when they need some space away from the group to re-center and re-focus. This space will also have things like stress balls, and charts, and books on emotions/feelings. After leaving this calming center students will be ready to come and participate with the class again!
