My goal is to cover all theatre basics in order to ignite my students curiosity, and potentially discover talents and passions for the performing arts. We are currently working on stage directions, body placement, and theatrical terms. We will also be covering technical theatre, and all the different branches. Most of my students have shown a lot of interest in theatrical makeup. Unfortunately, since this is the first year my school has launched the theatre program, we don’t have any theatrical makeup kits. These kits will be given to each student to learn, and practice applying stage makeup on themselves, and each other. Them being able to have their own makeup is essential for any type of health concerns. These kits will also provide each student a unique hands-on experience.
