My Geometry students will experience enriched lessons that will prepare them for real-world problem solving that requires various types of calculation that exceeds 4 function calculators. Their complex tasks will require them to use a Ti-83 calculator or better in order to be successful. Their preparation will also prepare them for high states testing via the PARCC Test. Our goal is to increase student productivity by 25% or higher. This can only be accomplished by ensuring student have the required resources. We want every student to have an equal opportunity to succeed. Your contribution will ensure students have a chance to demonstrate learning gains. Students will be limited in their use of calculators in the classroom only, to ensure resources remain intact over time. We look forward to your contribution which will greatly serve my student populations. They deserve the opportunity to flourish and thrive academically, your generosity will definitely be appreciated!
