I started this teaching position in the middle of last year, never getting to set up the classroom or make it a welcoming environment due to COVID. I also was given very limited classroom materials and a budget of $0 from the school. This project will help establish a cozy classroom library where students can get comfortable and read. Classroom décor from this project will create a fun and interesting environment to welcome students back into school after having attended a full year of school since kindergarten. The cute erasers and accessories will set up my classroom behavior incentive: desk pets! Finally, several classroom necessities such as easel pads and a mailbox system will help the classroom function properly.
