A majority of my students live in SRO housing units scattered all around Chinatown. With the lack of learning spaces, students' creativity and exploration are limited. The group of students is always excited to try new things and stimulating their creative minds. The use of STEAM manipulative in the classroom will spark the creativity and curiosity of young minds. Students can explore the different aspects of STEAM from the manipulative such as engineering and art. The manipulative will play a major role when it comes to exploring, learning, and creating. Students' creative minds are at work even with the limited space they have at home; with the use of STEAM manipulative, students will have the opportunity to explore and bring their ideas and creations to life.
