Calming rooms or "Woosah" rooms are on the rise in many school settings, given their therapeutic effects for students and staff. Calming rooms have been proven to increase concentration, help relieve anxiety, evoke mental and physical calmness, and reduce stress. So what can we do, when our school doesn't have the space for a calming room....we turn the classroom into the calming room!! The items selected for our Calming Classrooms and Teacher Workspaces, will allow us to create the mood lighting, and aromatherapy needed for some much needed respite; away from the impact of trauma, and the stress and anxiety brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. A Calming Classroom will help improve both learning and teaching.
