My classroom is an old physical science room turned into a math classroom. I have counters, sinks, and gas hookups on every wall. My furniture is 20+ years old and the posters on the walls are nearly as old. I want to create a welcoming environment and give the room a "math" feel. My students are nervous to be taking college-level math classes, and I need a room to help set them at ease. These inspirational and math-related items will help transform my room and the attitudes of my students.
