As a first year teacher, my classroom has no books. I want to help my students have options to read and find genres they love so that they are inspired to never stop reading! The help of books will also help me plan literature circles and blocks on books they choose. I don’t have the money to buy any books and my students can only go to the library so often. Students in my class will use a checkout system and can sample different genres to satisfy their ever changing needs.
