My 9th graders and I love exploring new educational websites to integrate technology into our classroom. With the help of an Apple MacBook Air, we will be able to gain access to educational videos and learning websites that will in turn help them develop the necessary skills needed in our world today. Having a classroom of children with such diverse backgrounds and learning styles, a MacBook will help me successfully teach the Common Core standards in a variety of ways. I am excited to help my students become confident in their learning and explore the world around them with the MacBook. I plan to use the Incase Designs cover to keep the MacBook safe from getting damaged, and the Samsonite Aramon NXT Shuttle Case to store the MacBook while not in use. With the help of this technology, my students will also be able to make and create movies and videos to show what they have learned about a particular unit of study. These creations will then be used as a showcase of their work. My students will build their self-esteem as they interact with the world and each other.
