Many donors may use headphones at home for entertainment, but in our classroom they are essential learning tools. With personal devices not permitted by school policy, these headphones allow students to complete digital lessons, watch videos, and listen to recorded lectures right at their desks. This means they can engage with the material during class instead of adding it to their homework load on top of six other classes.\r\nWhat excites my students most is the freedom to learn without barriers. They love being able to walk to the front of the room, grab a pair from the box, and get started without having to ask. That simple system has given them independence and dignity, and it's become part of our daily routine.\r\nI've seen particular students warm to this technology in powerful ways. My AP students use the headphones to access videos in AP Classroom, while my gen‑ed students rely on them for warm‑up activities and history lessons. Across the board, students who once struggled to keep up now have the tools to participate fully. Watching them take initiative—whether it's grabbing headphones for a lecture or diving into a digital activity—reminds me how much this project has expanded their opportunities to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1706280070916,"projectUrl":"project/an-ear-on-history/8146989/","projectTitle":"An Ear on History","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Sample","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6577164_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1705017958963","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6577164"},{"teacherId":9916968,"projectId":9100128,"letterContent":"The gratitude that I have for your kind donation is beyond words . As I stated, my students are at school at 6:45 am. They are usually tired and hungry, but ready to start their day. To be able to offer them a snack just to make sure they have something in their stomach is a blessing. The same goes for those who stay after school for sports or activities, or even the teens that have to rush off to a job immediately after school.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of my students, we thank you for this blessing.
