I am a first year teacher at this amazing inner-city school! I am starting the year off with almost no supplies and zero books! I quite literally walked into an empty classroom! We have a small budget to share on our grade-level team. We used that to buy some school supplies for over 50 students. Many of our students are unable to purchase their own supplies so we must do that with our funds. That small budget isn't enough to purchase all of the needed supplies for all of our students. I also have no teacher supplies, aside from the small amount I've been able to purchase with my own money. I am requesting some basic supplies for my kids like notebooks, pencils, glue and crayons. I've also requested some teacher supplies like markers, paperclips, pens and stickers. I've also requested a few books to help me get our classroom library up and going!
