These books will help to promote reading and influence the students in my class to enjoy and love reading. Due to the pandemic, some of these students have not held a physical book in over a year. They are beyond excited when I get them new books and when they have a book in their hands in general. They are very grateful and thankful for every book that we have in the classroom. Exposing them to new literature will help them excited to read. These books will be used as a whole group read aloud then will be put on the shelf for them to independently read. The students in my class really love when I read to them and would be forever grateful for new books to add to our classroom library.
