This school year we are finally able to welcome students back into the building full-time! I am excited to be able to create a comfortable and inviting classroom environment that will also be conducive to student learning and collaboration! Some students also need social emotional support throughout the day, therefore having many different sensory items will assist with keeping them on track! Having supplies that students can easily access, such as notebooks, pencils, and pens will relieve some of the stress that children may feel when coming to school unprepared or without materials. In addition, having supplies such as paper clips, white-out, sticky-notes and tissues inside of our classroom will provide us with essentials! Having a small laminator in the room will allow for quick conservation of student work that we may want to display, or send home to families.
