These materials will be used in 7th-12th grade band to create a comprehensive education for percussionists. They will also be used in our Stomp Percussion Ensemble to help students outside of band, learn music, perform, and entice others to join our ensembles. Another amazing benefit of percussion instruments is that they are addicting. Young students want to touch, play, experiment, and the presence of mallet instruments in the back of a music classroom can be enough to get that kid to join band. I am excited to be able to provide percussion students with a comprehensive education that can set them up to be competitive in college auditions, community bands, Drumcorp, and other musical activities.

About my class
